Each year the MPA is pleased to partner with ICAD Indonesian Contemporary Art & Design on a special film workshop. This year, strap into your seats when we are joined by director Patrick Hughes, known for his hit making action-comedy blockbusters The Hitman’s Bodyguard, The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard and Expendables 3. Patrick’s latest film is The Man From Toronto, due to be released in 2022. He’s next set to write and direct his own feature sci-fi action film War Machine.
Patrick will be joined in conversation by the Motion Picture Association’s Stephen Jenner, and Indonesian actress Hannah Al Rashid, known for Aruna & Her Palate and the Netflix thriller The Night Comes for Us.
The MPA film workshop is part of ICAD XI – PUBLIK hosted by the Indonesian Contemporary Art and Design Film Convention (ICAD). It’s one of the biggest creative exhibitions in Indonesia, annually held since 2009.
